Each artist is paired up with professional artists from the Bay Area, who rehearse and mentor our talented residents to get them ready for A Night with the Stars!

Homeless performers get a chance to shine
San Francisco Chronicle, April 14, 2011

A Night With the Stars is the signature event for Community Housing Partnership, the only San Francisco nonprofit agency exclusively dedicated to providing permanent homes for individuals and families who have been homeless. Community Housing Partnership's model of supportive housing offers a comprehensive array of case management, mental-health care, social support networks, addiction recovery services, and job training connected to real employment opportunities – building skills for independent living and providing opportunities to become reintegrated into the fabric of one's community.

Our singular focus and unique approach have made CHP into a national model for the solution of homelessness – with the highest success rate of any comparable supportive housing provider in the country.

Community Housing Partnership builds success. The chronically unemployed become model employees. People who have lived on the streets now lead as community activists. Families torn apart by hardship find stability again. More than half of our staff were homeless themselves, so by involving residents in every level of the organization— people who were once homeless now become agents of change in their communities. Plain and simple, it's change that works. Now that's success.

Build With Us.
