Community Housing Partnership (CHP) creates, implements and demonstrates solutions to homelessness by working in partnership with people in San Francisco who would otherwise be without a home.

In January 2007, CHP became a REDF portfolio member (formerly the Roberts Enterprise Development Fund), a nonprofit organization that helps support enterprise development through financial investment and assistance with planning and business development. REDF shares CHP’s commitment to ending homelessness and we have been working closely with them to develop CHP Enterprises.

In 2007 we launched CHP Enterprises, a business venture that increases economic opportunity for formerly homeless people through employment in the field of property management.

Our goals:

1.	create jobs that provide formerly homeless adults with the training, experience and income needed to achieve economic self-sufficiency
2.	provide quality outsourced property management services to housing providers in the San Francisco area
3.	revitalize the community through quality services and jobs fo neighborhood residents

Our Jobs

In addition to competitive wages and benefits, employees of CHP Enterprises have access to a wide variety of supportive services, including skill training, mutual support, counseling and professional development. These services are designed to help formerly homeless individuals overcome barriers to successful employment and become more active members of their communities.

Our Business

Customers of CHP Enterprises receive high-quality property management services with an emphasis on reliability, availability and sensitivity to the needs of residents. Our staff members are trained to provide competent and compassionate property management services in a residential setting.

CHP Enterprises provides the following services to its customers:

Front desk staffing – full-time or temporary fill-in coverage at the front desks of residential buildings
Maintenance services – unit turnover, cleaning, painting, and bedbug remediation services on a contract basis
