Since Community Housing Partnership's inception over 20 years ago, employment training and job placement programs have been central to our efforts to reduce homelessness. Building off of these efforts, in 2006 Community Housing Partnership teamed up with REDF to design and launch a social venture dedicated to workforce development and job opportunities for graduates of our training programs. Based in our core competencies in the management of affordable housing and the provision of employment training services to people who have endured homelessness, Solutions SF launched in 2007.
Solutions SF business lines are:

Lobby Staffing: Placing trained staff in full- or part-time front desk positions in apartment buildings and offices.

Maintenance: Cleaning, painting, and repairing vacated units for occupancy.

Bed Bug: Working in partnership with a licensed pest control company, Solutions SF staff prepare housing units for effective pest remediation.

Solutions SF:
• Has created employment for well over 100 unduplicated individuals
• Provides counseling to support employees in securing and succeeding in employment. Counselors work with newly hired employees to develop a plan for success, conduct monthly job retention meetings including specialized trainings in financial literacy and satisfying employer expectations, and assist them in managing life changes as they return to the workforce.
• Pays a fair wage along with health benefits to all staff members.
• Provides superior services that satisfy our customers' needs.
With thousands of buildings in San Francisco experiencing a need for property management staffing and services, Solutions SF offers customers a valuable social benefit in a high-demand sector.
