Community Housing Partnership (CHP) creates, implements and demonstrates solutions to homelessness by working in partnership with people in San Francisco who would otherwise be without a home.
Zygmunt Arendt House is CHP’s first housing development to exclusively serve senior citizens. The 47 unit building is being designed to accommodate the needs of formerly homeless elders. Our development partner for this project is Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation. When complete, CHP will be the owner and operator of the property. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2008 and the residence will open in late 2009.
