On Wednesday, November 5th, 2008, staff and community partners of CHP gathered to celebrate the first anniversary of CHP Enterprises, our business venture that creates supportive employment opportunities in the field of property management for formerly homeless adults. The venture has already employed over 50 people, helping each of them prepare for jobs in the mainstream workforce. It has also found its footing as a sustainable business, obtaining contracts to provide services for other affordable housing providers.

Many people spoke words of joy and gratitude at the event, including those who have contracted CHP Enterprises to provide property management, those who helped fund the venture, and those who have been employed by CHP Enterprises. Congratulations, CHP Enterprises!
